Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Malvern, PA is seeking a Lab Technician to support R&D and manufacturing through laboratory testing, sample preparation, experiments, data analysis, and equipment troubleshooting involving gypsum, insulation, and ceiling products. You will prepare and test material samples, document results, analyze data, and maintain laboratory safety and standards.

The role requires 3–4 years of chemical lab experience or an associate degree in chemistry or related field, plus proficiency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3–4 years of chemical laboratory experience, or an Associate Degree in Chemistry, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior laboratory experience required; co-op/internship experience is acceptable.
• Basic understanding of laboratory procedures, HSE, and safety practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Comfortable working with chemicals, laboratory equipment, power tools, and basic machinery.
• Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test material samples according to established procedures.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and document results.
• Collect, analyze, and report laboratory data.
• Perform basic statistical analysis using Excel.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Maintain laboratory safety, 5S, and inventory standards.
• Prepare accurate laboratory reports and documentation.
• Follow company SOPs, HSE requirements, and applicable testing standards.
