Job summary

Microbiologics, a global biotechnology company based in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, is seeking an R&D Lab Coordinator to ensure daily lab operations run smoothly, provide inventory oversight, and maintain equipment and supplies for product testing and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes organization, cross-functional collaboration, and a safe, high-quality lab environment while supporting validation testing and documentation updates as needed.

Qualifications

• Two year degree in Microbiology or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
• No previous experience required; on the job training provided.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory inventory by ordering, receiving, organizing, and tracking reagents, media, and laboratory supplies.
• Coordinate supply requisitions while receiving and inspecting purchased and prepared materials to ensure quality, identification, and traceability.
• Perform general laboratory responsibilities including cleaning, environmental monitoring, autoclaving, reagent preparation, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.
