Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a hybrid R&D and Compliance Testing Technician to support both the R&D and Sustainability/Compliance teams. This role conducts laboratory and application-based testing, maintains testing records, and supports product development while assisting with compliance testing, customer requirements, and claims verification.

You will work with R&D scientists and engineers, operate testing equipment, record data, and ensure documentation aligns with internal standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product development and/or laboratory testing.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP for data entry processes and documenting work results.
• Strong mathematical skills including algebra and statistics principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory testing in support of product development initiatives.
• Support R&D scientists and engineers in designing and executing experiments and trial runs.
• Operate testing equipment to generate reliable and repeatable data.
• Record, document, and maintain accurate test results, observations, and experimental data.
• Maintain laboratory areas and ensure proper material handling and storage procedures.
• Assist in compliance testing and claims verification activities, including documentation and evidence gathering.
