Job summary

Amgen seeks an Undergrad Intern – R&D Knowledge Management (Summer 2027) to help connect people and insights across Amgen’s R&D ecosystem. You will explore AI assistants, knowledge foundations, and user-centered tools while collaborating with global teams on a defined project.

The role offers hands-on learning, exposure to AI-driven knowledge management, and opportunities to share findings during a poster session.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Currently enrolled in full-time Bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 GPA minimum.
• Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship.
• Must be available to work a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist in connecting people and insights across Amgen’s R&D ecosystem for Knowledge Management.
• Co-design, prototype, and test AI assistants and related tools.
• Use user research and feedback to improve Knowledge Management interfaces.
• Create engaging knowledge assets using AI tools and storytelling techniques.
• Collaborate with global partners across R&D, digital, and learning teams.
• Present project results through an intern poster session and final presentation.
