Job summary

The Clorox Company Internship Program offers a 10-week summer experience in Durham, NC with hands-on R&D projects across product and packaging. Interns receive mentorship, contribute to real projects, and present a final project to leadership before returning to school.

Majors include Chemical, Biomedical, BioEngineering, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering. Graduating Dec 2027–Aug 2028, minimum 3.0 GPA, US work authorization, and lab work readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Majors listed: Chemical Eng, Biomedical Eng, BioEngineering, Materials Science Eng, or Mechanical Eng.
• Graduating between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Ability to work in a lab with various materials, including dust.
• Fine motor skills to prototype samples.
• Authorized to work in the United States with no visa sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in hands-on lab work on consumer product development.
• Participate in formulation, testing, data collection and pilot plant activities.
• Present a personal project and findings to leadership at program end.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists across packaging and process development.
