Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in computational science, biomedical, life science or related field.
• Strong interest in biology and machine learning with eagerness to apply automation to toxicology challenges.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Strong data and communication skills, curiosity, and stakeholder interaction.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Genetic and Molecular Toxicology group in a GLP-compliant facility.
• Learn and support toxicity testing for plant production products under supervision.
• Engage in in vitro and molecular toxicology tasks and review technical documents.
• Develop and evaluate automated ML approaches for high-content imaging datasets.
• Build automated image-processing workflows for cellular endpoints identification and quantification.
• Compare machine outputs with manual analyses to assess performance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with assay scientists to identify workflow improvements.
• Document methods, results, and recommendations; present findings to project teams.
