Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems, Inc. (IS4S) in Alabama is seeking a High Voltage Test Technician to join our advanced R&D team.

You will build, repair, and troubleshoot high-energy pulsed power systems and related high-voltage equipment, working closely with engineers to develop new technologies in a government-relevant setting. This hands-on role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to read schematics, fabricate components, and maintain lab facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on technical experience in industrial, military, aerospace, or R&D.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to build, repair, fabricate.
• Excellent electrical troubleshooting and schematics reading skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, and maintain high-voltage/pulsed power systems.
• Build mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies from drawings.
• Troubleshoot high-voltage systems using systematic techniques.
• Fabricate brackets, fixtures, and test hardware.
• Install cables, hydraulic/pneumatic lines and instrumentation.
• Support field testing at remote sites.
• Operate shop equipment (forklifts, cranes) as needed.
• Document repairs, modifications, and test activities.
