Job summary

The R&D Hardware Test Technician will support the development, testing, and improvement of pharmacy automation devices and their subsystems in an active R&D environment. This hands-on role emphasizes verification, prototype fabrication, test system maintenance, and general engineering support.

Candidates should have a two-year technical degree (bachelor’s preferred) with five years of related experience, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read drawings and schematics, and familiarity

Qualifications

• The role requires a 2-year technical degree in engineering or related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum five years in related industry, equipment, or reliability lab experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use mechanical tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure machines and subsystems to match testing requirements.
• Assist engineers in creating PQPs and perform tests per PQPs.
• Collect and analyze test data; document results in formal reports.
• Fabricate prototypes and test systems; build PCBs and wiring harnesses as needed.
• Maintain test system inventory and safe, organized labs.
