Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related discipline.
• Experience in R&D, product formulation, and food/beverage development.
• Beverage industry experience preferred; others considered if commercialization is shown.
• Experience conducting benchmark testing and translating findings into formulations.
• Hands-on experience with MicroThermics equipment or processes.
• Knowledge of emulsions, stabilizers, and formulation troubleshooting.
• Experience generating nutritional panels using nutrition analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D projects from concept through formulation, testing, and commercialization.
• Develop and troubleshoot food/beverage formulations to meet specs and customer needs.
• Conduct benchmark testing and evaluate product performance for improvements.
• Apply knowledge of emulsions and stabilizers to optimize formulations.
• Coordinate product trials, sample prep, sensory evaluations, and shelf-life assessments.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to translate requirements and progress.
• Track milestones, timelines, results, and deliverables across development lifecycle.
• Support ingredient and packaging documentation and food safety standards.
• Work with QA, Sales, and other teams to enable successful launches.
