Job summary

Ridgeline is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to act as the finance partner for our R&D teams, guiding product, engineering, design, and security investments to align with Ridgeline’s financial goals.

You’ll leverage AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting, automate analyses, and scale financial processes while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Hybrid in-office role with several days onsite in Reno or San Ramon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 5-7 years in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles.
• Experience supporting Product, Engineering, R&D, or technology orgs in SaaS/cloud environments.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and business partnership skills.
• Familiarity with FinOps, cloud cost management, and unit economics.
• Experience with ERP, HRIS, procurement, BI, and AI-enabled analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial guidance to inform roadmap and resource allocation.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for headcount, cloud, and vendors.
• Build models translating roadmaps and hiring into financial outcomes.
• Develop executive dashboards and reporting for spend, trends, and forecast accuracy.
• Support cloud cost allocation, tagging, and FinOps best practices.
• Collaborate with accounting on purchases, accruals, and capitalization.
