Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst in QCT OpEx Finance in San Diego, CA. The analyst will consolidate R&D actuals and forecasts by project and group, allocate headcount and expense targets, and perform variance analysis and reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of finance experience; a Master’s degree can substitute for up to one year. Prior wireless/telecom experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1+ year of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for up to one year of experience.
• Experience in wireless/telecommunications industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate R&D actuals and forecasts by project and group.
• Allocate headcount and expense targets to groups and business units.
• Perform monthly/quarterly variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Create management-level presentations and ad hoc analyses.
• Improve business processes affecting finance and reporting.
• Collaborate with Program, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams.
• Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau for projects and presentations.
