Zusammenfassung

nVent is seeking a Project Manager to lead New Product Introduction initiatives in a global environment from discovery to deployment. You will coordinate schedules, manage cross-functional design activities, and direct external testing while ensuring projects stay on track and risks are mitigated.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree, 3+ years of related experience with at least 1 year in project leadership, and strong proficiency with Office 365 tools and Jira/Confluence for backlog

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 3+ years of related engineering experience; at least 1 year of project management and/or leading teams experience preferred.
• Experience with backlog management and progress reporting (Jira/Confluence) a plus.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% with potential for international travel.

What You Will Experience In This Position

• Manage a portfolio of projects to ensure projects are on-track and elevate any project roadblocks
• Identify, track and mitigate risks early through structured risk planning and mitigation strategies
• Track Project Portfolio KPI’s
• Work to continuously improve project and product development processes to reduce product development cycle time

You Have

• Bachelors degree in engineering required
• Ideally 3+ years of related engineering experience; at least 1 year of project management and/or leading teams experience preferred
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office 360 tools, including Sharepoint, Teams, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) for backlog management, progress tracking and reporting is preferred
• Ability to provide work direction to work teams to improve efficiency, effectiveness and collaboration
• Establish a team environment with open communication, identifying problems and establishing resolutions
• Promote the sharing of knowledge to strengthen technical depth of staff, ensure adaptable operational support, and enable process improvements
• Approximately 10% of domestic travel with the potential for international travel is required

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range

$76,000.00 - $141,100.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
