Job summary

Innovative Health LLC is seeking an R&D specialist to support reprocessing and development of single-use medical devices. You will assist in design, prototyping, testing, and validation activities to ensure safe, compliant reuse of devices.

Your role involves literature and patent research, building test protocols, and analyzing data to inform engineering decisions. You will collaborate on design reviews and document iterations to support design history files.

Qualifications

• Assist in design, prototyping, and bench testing of new product concepts and components.
• Conduct literature and patent research to inform design decisions.
• Build and run test protocols to evaluate prototypes against design and performance requirements.
• Collect, organize, and analyze test data, and summarize findings for the engineering team.
• Participate in design reviews and hands-on problem solving during development.
• Document design iterations, test results, and findings to support design history files.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report priorities; adapt to changing tasks.
• Support R&D projects as needed across early-stage concepts.
• Assist in selecting materials, components, tooling, and fixtures for prototypes and tests.
• Participate in planning and justification of lab equipment as needed.
• Propose ideas for new technology, materials, and design approaches.
