Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Research and Development Engineer for a plastics manufacturing setting in Little Rock, AR.

The role emphasizes new product development, prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement in a technically advanced lab. You will design and test components with 3D CAD tools, analyze materials, maintain technical records, and collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Product Management to achieve standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of R&D engineering in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with mechanical systems development and testing.
• Proficiency with NX/SolidWorks/AutoCAD or similar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Willingness to travel 15–20%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, testing, analysis, and validation for new and existing industrial plastic products.
• Support product development, prototyping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design, model, and modify components using 3D CAD software.
• Develop and execute laboratory and mechanical testing procedures.
• Analyze product performance, testing data, and material characteristics.
• Prepare reports and engineering documentation.
