Job summary

An established American manufacturer in the construction and industrial markets seeks a Product Development Engineer for Little Rock, AR. This role interfaces with the commercial, operational, and quality teams to lead design, development, and qualification of new and existing product lines from concept through production.

You will develop machinery and tooling requirements, validate designs in production, ensure compliance with specifications, and drive projects on time and within budget while

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA).
• Experience with metal and plastic components in construction/industrial settings.
• Stamping/metal forming and CNC experience.
• Proven track record managing large projects and complex processes.
• Ability to collaborate with domestic and international customers, suppliers, and vendors.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management and sales to implement new projects and optimize products.
• Develop machinery and tooling requirements for new and existing products.
• Validate that product designs meet production requirements.
• Ensure product lines meet specifications to pass audits and testing.
• Interpret customer requirements to develop manufacturing concepts and value-added solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to deliver on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with domestic and international partners on scope, timing, and cost.
• Use 3D modeling tools to support design and manufacturability reviews.
• Apply creativity and problem-solving across complex projects and processes.
