Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Tempe, AZ, seeks an R&D Engineer for a 6+ month contract with three days onsite and the rest remote. The role is a 40-hour work week under a W2 arrangement.

The engineer will support design and development activities for new medical devices, translate customer needs into technical requirements, and develop robust test methods. Required BS in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering and 0-2 years engineering experience; familiarity with statistics and engineering drawing

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of engineering experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize statistical tools and data analysis; familiarity with drawings and tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for design and development activities of new products.
• Participate in executing technical and cross-functional project work.
• Develop novel concepts for product enhancements and translate customer needs into engineering requirements.
• Engineer robust products via strong engineering fundamentals and communicate needs to suppliers/manufacturing sites.
• Develop and execute test methods, including measurement equipment setup and data analysis.
• Write detailed technical reports for product design activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality policies and safety regulations.
