Job summary

Procter & Gamble invites Purdue University students graduating in 2028 or 2029 to join a 12–24 week R&D co‑op on-site in Mason, OH or Cincinnati, OH. You will work across Products Research, Analytical Science, Design & Development, Formulation, Packaging, and Materials to help innovate grooming solutions.

The program offers mentorship, hands-on projects, and exposure to cutting-edge tools, with compensation provided and no full-time commitment at end of the co-op.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's students graduating in 2028 or 2029 in engineering fields.
• Strong communication skills and ability to think critically and listen actively.
• Candidates must be able to work from Cincinnati/Mason, OH without relocation assistance.
• Open roles across Chemical, Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering; data science/analytics roles available.

Responsibilities

• Product Research: understand consumer needs to inform design parameters.
• Analytical & Measurement Science: develop ways to measure product performance.
• Product Design & Development: translate needs into design/specifications for grooming products.
• Product Formulation & Design: develop finished products with new technologies/chemicals/materials.
• Packaging Development: develop premium packaging designs and function.
• Blades & Metals Process Innovation: drive edge innovations in processes and equipment.
• Process Development & Pilot Plant Operations: scale up processes to be commercially feasible.
• Material Development: create new-to-world raw material technologies.
• Modeling and Simulation (M&S): build models to speed innovations.
• Data Science: transform data into actionable insights for decision-making.
