Job summary

Keysight Technologies Inc. is seeking a senior software architect to lead AI-driven system calibration development.

You will architect reuse strategies for calibration procedures and dual-use components across worldwide teams, leveraging AI, CI/CD, and modern modeling tools to accelerate development velocity. Qualifications

• MS Computer Science is required.
• 15 years in software-related roles with emphasis on architecture and design.
• Strong background in AI, and modern technologies.
• Experience with Simulink or similar modeling environments is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect the use of AI and software reuse to increase development velocity in System Calibration development.
• Increase throughput of system calibration procedure development using AI for code generation.
• Maximize reuse of dual-use components such as instrument drivers and measurement drivers.
• Improve modeling development throughput and ease of use (e.g., Simulink).
• Define architecture to enable model and calibration procedure reuse across WW teams.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for architecting the use of AI and software reuse to increase the development velocity of System Calibration development.
2. Initially, responsibility to increase the throughput of system calibration procedure development using AI for code generation.
3. Also, to maximize intact reuse of dual-use components (ex instrument drivers and measurement drivers).
4. Then, maximize throughput and ease of use in the modeling development process (ex Simulink).
5. This person will be responsible for the architecture that facilitates:

• Intact reuse of models and calibration procedures across all WW development teams
• Optimize tools/workflows for “dual use” during ITAR development engagements
• Speed up engagement development/delivery velocity thru proper use of AI and reuse
• Code quality improvements thru the proper use of AI generated regression testing and CI/CD
• Design a modern UI experience given the System Calibration development's unique dual workflow

Qualifications

MS Computer Science and 15yrs work experience in the following dolains

1. 10 years as a Software architect
2. 15 years in Test and Measurement domains
3. 15 years experience with Measurement Science architectures.
4. Proven track record of architecting systems to take advantage of modern technologies (ex AI)
5. Experience with Simulink or other modeling environments a strong plus

California pay range: MIN $153,180.00 - MAX $255,300.00
