Job summary

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for a prominent client. This on-site role is located in St.

Paul, MN 55117 and offers an 11-month assignment with potential extensions. The ideal candidate will define, decompose, and manage system and software requirements, lead technical product ownership activities, and collaborate across software, verification, and systems engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is Required!
• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is Preferred!
• 10+ years of Systems Engineering experience supporting complex software-intensive products is Required!
• Strong C++ development experience is Required!
• Experience with requirements engineering, including requirements decomposition, traceability, user stories, and acceptance criteria is Required!
• Experience with software and hardware integration in complex electromechanical or embedded systems is Required!
• Experience with systems-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and verification activities is Required!
• Experience working across the full product development lifecycle from concept through release is Preferred!
• Agile Product Owner experience, including backlog management, feature prioritization, and roadmap planning is Preferred!
• Experience translating system requirements into architecture and software design solutions is Preferred!
• Experience in regulated industries such as Medical Devices, Aerospace, Defense, or Automotive is Preferred!
• Medical Device and Electrophysiology experience is Strongly Preferred!
• Experience with IEC 62304 and Class II/III medical device software development is Preferred!
• Knowledge of FDA cybersecurity guidance, GDPR, patient privacy, and secure product development practices is Preferred!
• Experience with signal processing, algorithms, real-time visualization, cloud technologies, or analytics platforms is Preferred!
