Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking an Electronics/Electrical Engineer to contribute to weapon compatibility efforts in a collaborative lab setting. You will work with experienced staff to develop test plans, perform lab testing, and build analytical tools to support delivery platform integration.

The role offers onsite and offsite work, with the expectation of commuting as needed. Strong communication skills and a DOE Q-level clearance are essential, along with a relevant degree and strong

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of directly relevant education and engineering or scientific experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.
Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is desirable.
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
Outstanding verbal and written skills for briefings and communications.

Responsibilities

Define and document technical strategies to ensure weapon system compatibility with delivery platforms.
Collaborate across organizations to maintain traceability to systems engineering efforts.
Support large-scale electrical test campaigns and cross-agency tests.
Expand the Compatibility Engineering knowledge base with training materials and workshops.
