Job summary

Coloplast is seeking an R&D Electrical Engineering Intern to support design, development, testing, and verification of electrical and electromechanical medical device systems for Interventional Urology.

You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineers on new product development and sustaining engineering, contributing to lab tests, data analysis, and documentation in line with medical device design controls.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Undergraduate student (sophomore or higher) or Graduate student with core EE coursework.
• Experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Basic programming experience in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, or similar environments.
• Ability to conduct testing, analyze data, and communicate technical findings via reports and presentations.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, testing, verification, and validation of electrical and electromechanical medical device systems.
• Participate in hands-on problem solving and resolution.
• Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, data acquisition systems) to evaluate product performance.
• Create and maintain records of lab work and test results.
