As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a talented R&D Chemist II to join our Research & Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop innovative formulations, collaborate across departments, and see your work progress from concept to commercial production.

What You'll Do

• Develop and reformulate OTC, cosmetic, personal care, beauty, and pet care products.
• Design innovative, stable, and cost-effective formulations that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Support product development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Conduct laboratory development, formula optimization, troubleshooting, and stability evaluations.
• Assist with pilot batches, manufacturing trials, and scale-up activities.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams.
• Research new ingredients, technologies, and market trends to drive product innovation.
• Prepare technical documentation, formulas, specifications, and development reports.
• Support customer projects and provide technical assistance throughout the development process.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline preferred.
• 2–5 years of formulation experience in cosmetics, personal care, OTC, pharmaceutical, or pet care products.
• Experience developing emulsions, creams, lotions, gels, shampoos, conditioners, body washes, or similar products.
• Strong laboratory, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points For

• Experience working in a contract manufacturing (CMO/CDMO) environment.
• Experience supporting pilot batches and manufacturing scale-up.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, GMPs, and cosmetic compliance requirements.
