Job summary

You will lead product initiatives, collaborate with Manufacturing and Product Management to move concepts from development to production, and prepare technical and laboratory reports documenting findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required.
• MS with 2+ years in industry preferred.
• Experience in asphalt/coatings industry required; polymer chemistry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product initiatives, identifying market opportunities and executing innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Product Management to transition new products from development to full-scale production.
• Handle all necessary project documentation and complete company-required forms on time.
• Write technical and laboratory reports for projects.
• Assist laboratory management with essential testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Evaluate analytical findings and reports for compliance with company/industry standards.
• Report results to management through written reports and briefings.
