Job summary

Goulston Technologies, Inc. is seeking a passionate Research and Development Chemist in Monroe, NC to develop formulations that meet customer criteria and test finishes for quality and performance.

You will interface with customers to confirm finish requirements and maintain product integrity. The role involves creating reports for clients and collaborating with internal teams to ensure satisfaction and successful product delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Textile Chemistry.
• Formulation experience preferred.
• Experience testing finishes and ensuring product integrity.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and tests finishes to meet product specifications. Document as required.
• Interacts with customers to determine finish requirements and ensure product integrity.
• Creates reports for internal and external customers.
• Attends customer evaluations in a supporting role for the team.
• Testing/evaluating customer products.
• Monitors and approves new production batches under supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:

Develops formulations to meet customer criteria. Tests product finishes for the customer. Interfaces internally and externally (customer) to ensure product integrity is maintained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Formulates and tests finishes to confirm performance to product specifications. Document as required.

Requirements

EDUCATION:

Masters degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Textile Chemistry.

Formulation experience preferred
