Job summary

Goulston Technologies Inc. in Monroe, NC is seeking a Logistics Operator to ensure the safe, timely delivery of raw materials to chemical operations and to restock unused materials. The role requires attention to safety and inventory accuracy, with a shift from 3:00am to 12:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of related experience, and forklift experience. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Safe, efficient and timely delivery of raw materials to chemical operations.
• Safe removal of unused raw materials and restocking.

• Notify appropriate parties of outbound shipments.
• Accurate inventory data in computer systems.
• Ensure operability of equipment to high standards.
• Handle chemical spills and participate in cleanup.
• Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the safe timely delivery of raw materials to the chemical operations, and for the timely removal and restocking of all unused raw materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for the safe, efficient and timely delivery of raw materials to the chemical operations.
2. Responsible for the safe and efficient removal of unused raw material and appropriate restocking.
3. Maintenance of materials in hot boxes to meet daily demands of production.
4. Responsibility for unloading non-bulk trailers continuously throughout the day.
5. Notification of appropriate parties of outbound shipments.
6. Responsible for accurate computer inventory systems data.
7. Work to ensure the operability of equipment is maintained to high standards.
8. Knowledgeable in handling of chemical spills and actively participates in clean up.
9. Maintenance of good housekeeping standards at all times.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

EXPERIENCE:

1+ years of related experience and training.
