Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Raritan, NJ offers a Summer Internship/Co-Op in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering focused on product design and prototyping. You will create CAD models, build device prototypes, and contribute to cross-functional teams delivering design controls and test reports.

Qualified undergraduates or graduates in engineering fields who have hands-on experience with CAD (SolidWorks), prototyping, 3D printing, and microcontroller projects are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate in biomedical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience with product design, prototyping, and 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of microcontroller platforms.
• Participation in engineering design teams, research projects, internships, co-ops, or capstone projects.

Responsibilities

• Attend team meetings as necessary
• Perform mechanical and laboratory testing, and post-testing analysis
• Communicate business related issues or opportunities to next management level
• Create and update CAD models, assemblies and drawings
• Create and assemble device prototypes and assembly fixtures
• Author and update reports, test methods, and other design control documentation
• Performs other duties assigned as needed
