Job summary

Advanced Sterilization Products in Irvine is seeking a Scientist I in R&D Biochemistry and Microbiology to support NPD and life cycle management for BI production. The role involves biochemical/microbial analyses, fermentation development, and cross‑functional collaboration with QA and Operations.

Bachelor’s level with 0–2 years’ lab experience is expected. Responsibilities include method validation, documentation, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Microbiology or closely related field.
• 0–2 years in a Microbiology laboratory or related environment.
• IQ/OQ/PQ and PV processes and microbial fermentation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support NPD and sustaining BI production projects.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative microbiological and chemistry analyses.
• Assist microbial fermentation development and commercialization.
• Maintain R&D lab operations and ensure safety and compliance.
