Qualifications

• Hands-on proficiency with chromatographic separations and mass spectrometry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, troubleshoot, validate, document, transfer, and steward analytical methods.
• Ability to operate when the analytical approach must be developed from first principles.
• Assess data quality and justify conclusions for technical/business decisions.
• Influence technical direction, mentor others, and communicate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Use chemical and materials science principles, GC/LC/MS/HRAM to determine why products perform or fail and recommend solutions.
• Own GC, LC, and MS workflows including maintenance, data quality, and method stewardship.
• Define critical measurements and lead testing programs via first-principles strategies.
• Solve analytical challenges across diverse platforms for R&D, raw materials, and quality.
• Identify unknowns, monitor reactions, quantify knowns, and characterize materials.
• Develop, validate, transfer, maintain, and troubleshoot methods with hypothesis-driven root-cause analysis.
• Manage workstreams from sample intake through analysis, interpretation, reporting, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, regulatory, and research teams; communicate results clearly in reports and presentations.
