ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. seeks a Director, R&D AI, Insights & Analytics to lead strategy and execution of data, analytics, AI, and insights across R&D.

This senior leader will transform how data informs trial design, governance, and decision-making, delivering scalable AI-enabled solutions. You will partner with R&D leadership, Enterprise AI, and IT to define roadmaps, build modern data platforms, and measure business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in R&D analytics, data strategy, or related areas.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech life sciences.
• Experience leading data governance programs (ownership, stewardship, metadata, data quality).
• Experience with data lake/lakehouse/cloud data strategies and platform selection.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the R&D insights, analytics, AI, and data capability roadmap.
• Lead R&D data governance framework and data quality standards.
• Develop dashboards and predictive analytics to improve trial performance.
• Translate use cases into scalable data products with measurable value.
• Partner with IT and external vendors on platform design and deployment.
