Job summary

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Elementary Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Valid teaching credential or special education license preferred.
• Experience with diverse learners, including students with autism.
• High levels of patience, empathy, strong interpersonal communication, and reliability.

• Deliver customized 1:1 lessons tailored to the student’s pace, style, and goals.
• Create lessons, modifications, and track progress relative to IEP goals and benchmarks.
• Use multi-sensory approaches, literacy and math strategies, and assistive technology to engage the learner.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates and share strategies.
• Progress monitoring: keep logs of sessions, track milestones, and adjust methods in real time.
