Job summary

Barnstable Public Schools in Barnstable, Massachusetts seeks a Future Problem Solving Coach for an after-school club at Barnstable High School. This stipend position is starting immediately and reports to the Director of Teaching and Learning PK-5.

The candidate should have some experience with Future Problem Solving; 1+ year coaching preferred and must hold a current Barnstable Public School position. Per BTA contract, part-time hours apply.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the Future Problem Solving Program preferred.
• At least 1 year previous coaching in Future Problem Solving preferred.
• Candidate must hold current Barnstable Public School position.

Responsibilities

• Know current rules, regulations and requirements of Future Problem Solving International.
• Plan and facilitate weekly meetings with competitors (team and individual), providing instruction, support and materials.
• Schedule competitions and communicate with all stakeholders (administrators, teachers, parents, students).
• Attend parent meetings for Future Problem Solving and International Competition planning.
