Graybar is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotes lifecycle from request to quote submission. You'll interact with Graybar sales, customer service, customers and manufacturers to gather data and produce profitable quotations.

The role emphasizes cost estimation, supplier communication, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing and timely responses. A high school diploma is required with a preference for a 4-year degree and SAP/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience preferred.
• 4 year degree in Business or related preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas.

Make a difference.As a Quotations Specialist, you will handle the quotations process from the time you receive the request to the time you submit the quote to the customer. You will communicate with Graybar sales representatives, customer service representatives, customers and manufacturer representatives to gather needed details to create your quotes. You will learn about our product lines and pricing mechanics, as well as the computer systems we use, in order to provide quotations that result in profitable sales for the company.In this role you will:Prepare cost estimates of materialContact factories and representatives to obtain cost informationCollaborate with sales representatives and customer service representativesForm relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotationsCompare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price any differences for complete comparisonsWhat you bring to the table:Customer service and communication skillsAbility to meet deadlinesKnowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas4+ years experience preferredHigh School education4 year degree in Business or related preferredCompensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $23.00 per hour depending on experience.The Value of Graybar:At Graybar, we are known for our comprehensive benefits and our employee stock ownership plan!
