The Quotations Specialist will work with customer service, product managers, field sales, and leadership to ensure pricing guidelines are adhered to and profitable. Major activities include working with order pricing approvals, collaborating with field sales to identify market levels and obtain necessary approvals for project submissions, and maintaining long-term special pricing agreements. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, and collaborative environment. A willingness to learn the intricacies of Hubbell and its quotation process is essential to maintain excellent customer relations with our field sales force and distribution customers.

  • Support the quotation supervisor in identifying missing data and communicate/clarify necessary information for quote entry or distribution.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of specialized quotations.
  • Provide consistent, responsive, and quality service to internal and external customers.
  • Participate in coordinating, analyzing, and acting upon information and feedback regarding customer needs, pricing, products, competition, and procedures.
  • Support Customer Financial Services staff in resolving customer billing problems related to quotation pricing and credit errors.
  • Assist with any quotations department projects as directed by the Quotations Supervisor or VP of Pricing.
  • Ensure all interactions are handled with the highest quality and manage day-to-day duties as needed.
  • Provide reliable and prompt communication with the field sales force and distributors to resolve quotation issues, analyzing and evaluating problems to solve or find answers efficiently.
  • Handle deliverables that significantly impact the company's profitability.
