Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotations process from receipt of requests to submission of quotes. You will interact with Graybar sales and customer service teams, customers, and manufacturers to collect details and craft accurate quotations.

You will learn product lines, pricing mechanics, and the computer systems used to generate profitable quotes for Graybar. The schedule is Monday–Friday, with starting pay of $24 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service, communication skills and meeting deadlines are required.
• SAP knowledge and ability to use Excel formulas are preferred.
• 2+ years experience is preferred; High School education is expected.
• A 2 year degree in Business or related field is preferred.

Make a difference. As a Quotations Specialist, you will handle the quotations process from the time you receive the request to the time you submit the quote to the customer. You will communicate with Graybar sales representatives, customer service representatives, customers and manufacturer representatives to gather needed details to create your quotes. You will learn about our product lines and pricing mechanics, as well as the computer systems we use in order to provide quotations that result in profitable sales for the Company.

In This Role You Will

• Prepare cost estimates of material
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price any differences for complete comparisons

What You Bring To The Table

• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas
• 2+ years experience preferred
• High School education
• 2 year degree in Business or related preferred

Work Shift and Hours:

Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Compensation Details:

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $24.00 per hour depending on experience.
