Graybar Electric Company, Inc. in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Quotations Specialist to manage the quotations process from receipt to quote submission.

You will coordinate with Graybar sales, customer service, customers and manufacturers to gather details and produce quotes that support profitable sales. You will learn product lines and pricing mechanics, and use SAP and Excel to deliver accurate, on-time quotations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with strong communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
• Familiarity with SAP and Excel formulas.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Educational background: high school diploma; associate degree preferred.

Job description

Make a difference. As a Quotations Specialist, you will handle the quotations process from the time you receive the request to the time you submit the quote to the customer. You will communicate with Graybar sales representatives, customer service representatives, customers and manufacturer representatives to gather needed details to create your quotes. You will learn about our product lines and pricing mechanics, as well as the computer systems we use in order to provide quotations that result in profitable sales for the Company.

In this role you will:

• Prepare cost estimates of material
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price any differences for complete comparisons

What you bring to the table:

• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas
• 2+ years experience preferred
• High School education
• 2 year degree in Business or related preferred

Shift & Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Compensation Details: The expected rate of pay for this position is starting at $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
