Job summary

Guhring Inc. in Brookfield, WI is seeking a Quotation Technician to develop, execute, track and communicate quotes, costs and price lists for special products, using established processes and SAP data.

You will work closely with buyers, engineers and suppliers to drive efficiency, provide timely quotations, and manage routing and records while protecting confidential designs.

This full-time, on-site role supports our growing metalworking tooling operations.

Qualifications

• Develop and document product quotation guidelines and policy for general distribution to the quotations group and engineering.
• Work closely with buyers, engineers, and suppliers to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Complete quotation on a timely basis in reference to 2 day turnaround time.
• Provide as needed quotation working drawings from the SAP system for customer approvals.
• Assist with the addition and corrections to the routing sheet in the SAP Engineering and quotations systems to comply with any process changes.
• Provide customer support in standard and special tooling phone calls.
• Maintain records and work area in proper order.
• Maintain confidentiality of all designs and process criteria relating to the products manufactured by the company.
• Maintain an appropriate/ professional working relationship with outside vendors and customers.
• May be asked to perform other duties not listed above.
