Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a Quick Lube Automotive Technician in Jacksonville, FL. This entry-level role focuses on basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and battery testing, with emphasis on teamwork and customer service.

You will follow manufacturer training and internal procedures to ensure vehicles are serviced correctly and returned in good condition. A valid driver's license and basic tools are required; automotive tech certifications are

Qualifications

• Entry-level technician role performing basic maintenance on customer vehicles.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Automotive technical school certifications preferred; apprenticeship experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires, and battery testing.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Complete multi-point inspection forms accurately on each vehicle.
• Apply manufacturer and management training to service tasks.
• Ensure vehicles are returned to customers in good condition or better.

We are looking for smart, energetic, technically-focused Quick LubeTechnicians who will help us redefine the car-service experience.

The Quick Lube Technician is an entry level technician who is responsible for performing the basic maintenance of customer vehicles.This position requires exceptional teamwork and the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks.This is an hourly paid position.

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires and battery testing
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Makes accurate use of the multi-pointinspection form on each vehicle
• Utilizes product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management
• Takes care to ensure that customer vehicles are returned to them in the same condition or better than when brought in
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs and schools.
• Continuously expand your knowledge for new technologies and practice
• Automotive technical school certifications preferred
• Previous experience highly preferred
• Apprenticeship experience a plus
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
• Must be at leasteighteen years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have basic tools
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
