Job description

Job Summary: We are looking for a Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong background in automotive work and ASE certification or a technical degree. The day-to-day duties of this role include testing systems to ensure they are working properly, driving vehicles for test purposes, and accurately diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly
• Isolate potential causes of problems
• Drive vehicles for testing and inspect/refill fluid levels as needed
• Ensure proper tire pressure, clean and lubricate fittings
• Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters, communicate oil levels to teammates
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Replace worn parts before breakdown or damage occurs
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and quick diagnostic skills
• Effective analytical and communication skills, eager to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification or technical degree (preferred)
• One year of experience in a service department
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
