Job Summary: We are looking for a Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong background in automotive work and ASE certification or a technical degree. The day-to-day duties include testing systems to ensure proper functioning, driving vehicles for testing purposes, and diagnosing and repairing vehicles accurately.

Responsibilities

• Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly
• Isolate issues with systems or components that may have caused problems
• Drive vehicles for testing and inspect/refill fluid levels as needed
• Check tire pressure, clean and lubricate fittings as necessary
• Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters, and communicate oil levels to team members
• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately
• Replace worn parts proactively to prevent breakdowns or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools to perform tasks

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and quick diagnostic skills
• Effective analytical and communication skills, with a willingness to improve
• Ability to learn new repair procedures, technology, and specifications
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification or Technical degree (preferred)
• At least one year of experience in a service department
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
