Job summary

Jim Norton Toyota of OKC is seeking a motivated Quick Lube Technician to perform fluid checks and basic maintenance, including oil changes and transmission fluid monitoring. You will inspect belts, filters, air levels and gauges while ensuring vehicle readiness and safety.

You’ll work with power tools and diagnostic equipment in a fast-paced service bay, requiring accuracy, reliability and a positive attitude. Prior experience in a dealership or service department is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year service department experience.
• Ability to identify problems quickly and adapt.
• Effective analytical and communication skills.
• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures and specifications.
• Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Technical degree/ASE certifications preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Positive, friendly attitude.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of the position are MEDIUM to HEAVY in intensity.

Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.

Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.

Constant - Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.

Frequent - Repetitive motion.

Occasional - Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to :100 lbs.

Physical Working Conditions

This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operation an auto dealership.
