Responsibilities

• Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
• Identify and isolate potential causes of issues.
• Drive vehicles for testing and inspect, refill, or replace fluids as needed.
• Check tire pressure, clean, and lubricate fittings.
• Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters, and communicate oil levels to team members.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Preemptively repair or replace worn parts to prevent breakdowns or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools to perform tasks.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and quick diagnostic skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and improve.
• Ability to learn new technologies, repair procedures, and specifications.
• Experience operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• ASE Certification or Technical degree (preferred).
• At least one year of experience in a service department.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
