Job summary

Webb Automotive in Highland, IN, is seeking a detail-oriented automotive technician to maintain vehicles and deliver outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include oil changes, tire checks, fluid inspections, and conducting thorough vehicle inspections with video.

The ideal candidate has an automotive background, strong teamwork and communication, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Background checks and drug screens are required for employment at Webb Automotive.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive maintenance and customer service.
• Ability to perform oil changes, tire checks and fluid inspections.
• Strong teamwork and communication; valid driver’s license; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Verify the oil level using the dipstick and top up or change oil as required
• Check and adjust tire pressures to ensure optimal inflation for vehicle performance and safety
• Inspect all fluid levels (coolant, brake fluid, windshield washer, etc.) and refill as needed to maintain proper operation
• Conduct full vehicle inspections with video, including brakes, suspension, lights, and other critical components
• Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters as required to ensure a successful oil change
• Clean excess grime and apply lubricant to any vehicle fittings or moving parts when necessary
• Inspect tires for damage, repair minor punctures as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service, prioritizing the customer’s perspective and ensuring satisfaction with the service experience
• Make maintenance or repair recommendations as necessary
