Job summary

Basil Fredonia is seeking a Quick Lube Technician to join our service team. You’ll perform oil changes, filter replacements, and routine maintenance on vehicles in a fast-paced shop.

You will follow manufacturer procedures, maintain a clean, safe work area, and focus on delivering quality service to customers while building essential automotive skills.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive, quick-lube, or mechanical experience is required.
• NYS Inspectors License preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to safely lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance services.
• Inspect vehicles and identify basic maintenance or service needs.
• Perform tire rotations and other quick-service procedures as needed.
• Follow manufacturer recommendations and dealership service procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly use and maintain shop equipment and tools.
• Communicate any additional vehicle concerns to the appropriate service team member.
• Provide professional, efficient service while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
