Your Day-to-Day at C. Harper:

As a Quick Lube Technician, you’ll be the heartbeat of our service department, ensuring every vehicle that comes through our doors is in peak condition. Your responsibilities will include:

• Thorough Diagnostics: Conducting comprehensive tests on vehicle systems and components to ensure everything is secure and functioning at its best.
• Precision Problem-Solving: Quickly and accurately identifying any issues, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
• Performance Checks: Performing test drives to evaluate vehicle performance, checking and refilling fluid levels, and ensuring proper tire pressure.
• Efficient Maintenance: Installing new oil drain plugs and filters, lubricating fittings, and maintaining high efficiency in oil change services.
• Expert Repairs: Repairing or replacing worn parts to prevent vehicle breakdowns and ensure long-term reliability.
• Tool Mastery: Utilizing power tools, machine tools, and hand tools with precision to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Automotive Expertise: A strong understanding of automobiles, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
• Analytical Mindset: Sharp analytical skills and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Tech Savvy: Comfort with the latest technology and diagnostic equipment, ready to adapt to new tools and procedures.
• Strong Credentials: High School Diploma or GED required. ASE Certification or Technical degree preferred.
• State automotive service license and emissions certification are required.
• Experience Matters: At least one year of experience in a service department is preferred, showcasing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge.
• Drive Safely: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is a must.
