Responsibilities
- Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
- Isolate systems or components that may have caused issues.
- Drive vehicles for testing purposes, inspecting and refilling fluid levels as necessary.
- Ensure proper tire pressure, clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
- Install new oil drain plugs and filters, and communicate oil levels to teammates.
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Repair or replace worn parts proactively to prevent breakdowns or damage.
- Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of automobiles and quick diagnostic skills.
- Effective analytical and communication skills with a desire to improve.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- At least one year of experience in a service department.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
