Joe Cooper Ford of Edmond in Oklahoma City is seeking an Express Lane Technician to perform basic maintenance and express services including oil changes, fluid checks, belt and filter inspections, brake and tire checks, and air level assessments while delivering world-class customer service. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with automotive training; an unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record; and strong dexterity.

Training is provided for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; automotive technician training preferred.
• Unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Check fluids and maintenance-related parts; top off or replace fluids or filters as needed.
• Perform routine service inspections and standard maintenance jobs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness during service or repair.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
• Follow shop policies, safety, and environmental rules; assist with inventory and general duties.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and classes as required.

Joe Cooper Ford of Edmond has immediate openings for entry level to highly skilled Express Lane Technicians. This position will focus around basic maintenance to include but not limited to: oil change, check transmission and other fluids, inspect various belts and filters, inspect brakes and tires, and check air levels and gauges. Training will be provided.The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with training at an automotive trade school and/or experience. An unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.ResponsibilitiesChecks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as requiredPerforms routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobsMaintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairsEnsures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standardsFollows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rulesHelps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functionsAttends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as requiredPerforms other duties as assignedHigh school diploma or GED.
