Job summary

Dahl Automotive in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Quick Lane Technician to learn and grow into an experienced technician. The role offers on-site work, with a pay range between $15 and $18 per hour for full-time employment.

Training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates reliability and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities include testing systems, isolating issues, performing test drives, verifying fluids and tire pressures, and repairing components as needed.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; we will train the right fit.
• Analytical and communication skills plus eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Come work in beautiful downtown La Crosse, WI as a Quick Lane Technician! We will help you grow in to an experienced, productive technician! The pay range for this full-time position is between $15-$18per hour.

Responsibilities

Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly.

Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.

Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.

Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed.

Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates.

Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.

Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage.

Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
