Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, invites you to join our molding team on the D shift. You will operate molding lines, load materials, and monitor quality while following the QMS and lean practices.

Qualifications

• Prioritize safety and operate equipment correctly.
• Follow QMS and standard work procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned molding lines on 2-2-3 D shift.
• Stocks lines/machines with materials and loads/unloads equipment.
• Performs periodic checks and quality control samples.
• Monitors equipment, reports issues to supervisor.
• Maintains records for safety, quality, and productivity.

MOLD LINE OPERATOR - D SHIFT 2-2-3 6:45AM - 7PM

Job Functions

• Ensures safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment
• Follows the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Stocks lines/machines with needed materials
• Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients
• Load/ unload machines
• Performs periodic checks on output
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related issues
• Maintains accurate documentation/ records relative to safety, quality, and productivity for assigned area
• Follows standard operating procedures, safe operating practices, 5S, standard work and other lean manufacturing principles
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized
• Supports a life-long learning environment, enhancing own skills as well as assisting in the development of other team members
• Must be willing to cross department lines and help the team where needed
• Performs other related duties as required
