The Winter/Spring schedules include sections ARTS 175, ARTS 70, and ARTS 177 with times on MW; teaching load is up to two courses per quarter and four per academic year.

The Department of Art and Art History at Santa Clara University, a Jesuit, Catholic university, invites applications for quarterly lecturer(s) (non-tenure track) to teach undergraduate courses in Graphic Design, including Information Design and Website Graphic Design. Specific assignments will be made according to the academic qualifications of the individual and programmatic need. The successful candidate will teach no more than two courses in any quarter and no more than four courses over the fall, winter and spring quarters. Each quarter is 10 weeks long, with an 11th week set for final examinations. All classes will be presented in-person, however, if the county health and university health conditions deteriorate, the successful candidate may be asked to teach part of the course online.
The Winter schedule for this position consists of one section of ARTS 175 Information Design: Graphic Design on MW 10:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. The Spring schedule for this position consists of one section of ARTS 70: Graphic Design: Typography on MW 10:30 a.m. to 12: 50 p.m. and one section of ARTS 177 Website Graphic Design on MW 1:00 to 3:20 p.m.

This position does not require any service duties. You may be invited, but not required, to attend department meetings or activities.
