About the Role

The Quarry Technician position involves multi-skilled responsibilities related to mining operations.

What You'll Accomplish

• Operate mobile equipment for rock mining (e.g., drills, loaders, bulldozers, haul trucks, water trucks, graders, fuel tankers, hydraulic breakers)
• Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and conduct minor preventative maintenance on mobile equipment
• Monitor and address quality issues, adjust mining patterns as needed
• Maintain documentation, organize work, and participate in team activities
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Commit to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a safety culture

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

At least 1 year of heavy equipment operation in a manufacturing environment

Additional Requirements

• Work outdoors, at heights, in warm temperatures, dusty environments, and confined spaces
• Work on a two-shift schedule, including weekends
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE, including respirators (must be clean-shaven for proper seal)
